To Start

 Prawn, Crab and Quail Egg Salad £5.75

Juicy salad prawns with white crab meat and quails eggs, in a mixed seasonal leaf salad with vinaigrette dressing.

 Chicken Liver and Foie Gras Pâté £4.95

A rich, smooth pate of chicken livers, flavoured with garlic, cognac and spices, served with panfried goose liver, wholemeal toast and a salad garnish.

 Salmon Tandoori £4.95

Fillet of fresh Scottish salmon, marinated in Indian spices and yoghurt and served with a seasonal salad and Tandoori  dressing.

 Fresh Asparagus Soup £4.50

A soup made with fresh asparagus, finished with cream and chives and served with crispy parmesan cheese straws.

 Toasted Goat’s Cheese £5.25

A French bread crouton topped with toasted Brittany goat’s  cheese and served on a salad with  finely  cut  crispy vegetable crudités.

 Garlic Button Mushrooms £4.95

Baby button mushrooms, cooked in a garlic, shallots and white wine cream sauce and served topped with light puff pastry.

Starters are served with a choice of freshly baked bread rolls

Main Courses

Fillet of Boar £16.95

Roast  fillet of Lancashire boar, served with a cream sauce flavoured with Roquefort blue cheese, and mango and apple sauce.

Sirloin Steak with Two Sauces £17.75

Tender sirloin of English beef, cooked to your choice and served with a rich red wine sauce.

Fillet of Beef Two Sauces £19.95

A fillet steak of English beef, served accompanied by two sauces: a Madeira cream sauce and a port wine sauce.

Fillet of Venison  £20.95

Venison fillet, panfried and served with a brandy and  green peppercorn sauce.

Fillet of Sea Bass  £17.75

Fillet of Sea Bass, panfried with king tiger prawns and accompanied by a mushroom, white wine and cream sauce.

Breast of Duck £17.50

Pan fried breast of Gressingham duck and partridge, served in a tangy sauce flavoured withshallots, honey, whole grain mustard and calvados and a hint of tarragon wine vinegar.

Main courses are served accompanied by selected fresh vegetables and potatoes. Vegetarian main courses also available by prior booking.

 All desserts, ice creams and sorbets are made here at Kitties Restaurant.

 Mont Blanc

A signature dessert: a peak of white chocolate ice cream served with profiteroles filled with fresh cream, and a warm, dark, rich chocolate sauce.

 Sorbet ‘Menage a Trois’

Fresh, smooth and refreshing sorbets in three flavours -  kiwifruit, English strawberry and mango.

 Crème Caramel 

A classic individual chilled dessert, garnished with bananas in a rum and caramel sauce.

 Raspberry and Amaretto parfait Glace 

An ice cream terrine, made with raspberries and flavoured with Amaretto liqueur, accompanied by a raspberry coulis

 Totally Chocolate! 

A decadent doubly chocolate dessert of dark Belgian chocolate and smooth white chocolate terrine, served with a Tia Maria and chocolate sauce.

 Blackberry and Apple Cheesecake

An individual cheesecake on a biscuit base, topped with Bramley apples and juicy blackberries in syrup.
